Giving Due Credit
The credit for writing these definitely goes to Nicole. I may have pounded out some extra information and fixed a few minute things, but she is the one who sat down and typed out all of these stories for your enjoyment. If you enjoyed the read please let her know she will feel great about it!
Chet is from a small town in the Liberty/Daisetta/Hull/Moss Bluff area, or something in there. He graduated valedictorian in May of 2006, and made the decision to continue his school career at Sam Houston State University. He started off seeking a business degree but later changed to a mass communications degree with an emphasis in public relations. Chet wants to be an Artist and Repertoire Representative for an Indie Label one day. He lived in a small dorm called Spivey, which is where he met some of his closest friends from college. Chet enjoys reading, web design, music, and hanging out with his friends. While that all sounds a bit cliché, it truly is him.
Nicole is from a not so small town called Austin. After an interesting high school career, she graduated both first and last in her class in 2005 and decided to go to a community college and then on to Sam Houston. Her focus has always been in psychology – she wants to be a professor and a counselor one day. By chance, since it wasn’t the original plan, Nicole ended up living in Spivey and that is where she and Chet met. Nicole enjoys most of the same things that Chet does, with the addition of randomly bursting out into song/dance.
Chet and Nicole met in Spivey under interesting circumstances: they both needed food, and didn’t know how to find it, so they set off. They made the uncomfortable small talk that most budding friends do, while Chet attempted to remember Nicole’s name. Luckily, a friend of hers walked up and saved him from further awkwardness and he made his way back home. All the while, Nicole couldn’t help but be intrigued by the guy she had just met. From that lunch on, there were many Wal-Mart trips, awkward conversations, and computer homework that was done. Nevertheless, it wasn’t until November of 2006 that they actually began dating.
